We had our own adventure while visiting BV. The rodeo was great fun this year and the weather was perfect. NOT HOT or wet (like last year).

This is the big truck I got to drive. Steve gave me a ride to pick it up after lunch with Lisa and Julie and the gang.

So we went to the rodeo early as my Dad is on the committee. Which basically means I got to do some heavy lifting to help set up. I have bruises from the stock panels. But the bucking horses put on a show before the audience arrived.

Dylan participated in the Mutton Bustin'. He lasted four steps before the sheep got too itchy for him to hold on to. Then he looked like Superman right before he landed in the dirt. He wanted to go again...

The grand entry and presentation of the flag was pretty cool. There wasn't a good spot to get a picture. This is the best I could do.

The parade was Saturday morning. Steve has declared BV parades boring. Maybe he just needs to make himself a float and join in.

Finally, this is my very own cowboy. I will hug him and squeeze him and love him and call him George.

We had a great time.
