off the wall question

Hummingbirder 2012

i would like to know how do these little guy/gals find me .lol
what i mean is, how do they find a place to feed all of a sudden, i am sure they are know where there a lot of feeder etc, but what do they do, FLY BY AND SAY oh my "jim has a feeder "hahahahah

just wondering how they know
