Today, I am having a big, noisy demolition project going on. The large slab from the former garage is being removed and the crater remaining will be filled in with soil. The bobcat operator went full-tilt for a couple of hours, until he had filled a large dumpster.
Then, he cut the motor so he could take the cement debris to the dump. Within minutes, a hummer swooped in to sample the nectar from a splendid Hamelia patens nearby. All the noise and activity doesn't scare this bird one bit!
