  • Little OT - Great book for summer reading

      The Hothouse Flower & the 9 Plants of Desire by Margot Berwin is a new novel about yearning, plants and an adventure into the rainforests of the Yucatan Penninsula in search of the 9, actually 10 Plants of Desire. I read this book in 2 days, could not put it down. I love to read and enjoy the escape of a good novel, add my favorite obsession, PLANTS and you get a WIN WIN novel. The story is based on the authors relationship with a freind who owns the plants and loses them and the search for replacements. Remember its a novel so don't pick it apart over plant species and if they are actually found in the Yucatan, but rather enjoy the story about a womans foray into growing. I found this link and they are making it into a movie. It seems my Favorite female actress, Julia Roberts will be starring in the lead role. Read, dream and enjoy!
