Plants/blooms that are stunted due to adverse growing conditions catch my attention & rather fascinate me. This Black-eyed Susan seedling made the effort to grow & bloom in just a bit of soil in the bottom of the pot, which I guess would be called an 8-inch pot...it has an 8.5" diameter across the top. The plant is about 10 or 11 inches tall, whereas those growing under more favorable conditions range between 3-4 feet, with considerably larger blooms. Cute?
