Thanks for the play by play, Dan! I was at work and couldn't watch today. What a funny turn of events! You just never know what's going to happen at Phoebe's nest! After watching many fledges now, I'm rather wondering if the chicks' tail feathers need to grow to a certain length before they are able to hit lift off. Obviously the chicks need to build up their wing strength, but I wonder if the aerodynamics of that tail makes a difference as well. Hmmm.
