Dear Bob,
I was so sorry to see Jo's picture on the website this morning. I sent an email to you , but just in case I didn't have the correct address I will respond here also.
Wendi and I are so sorry for your loss and I would send a regular sympathy card if I had your address.
Wendi and I enjoyed our visit with you and Jo so much last summer...your garden was beautiful and Jo was such a gracious
hostess, even though she was not feeling well at the time. We will always remember our visit and our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Sincerely, Verna and Wendi
My condolences and prayers are with you. I am so sorry.

I'm so sorry

Bob, this is Leisa from Lexington. I'm so sorry to hear about your wife, I did not realize she had breast cancer. I enjoyed meeting her at your house that day so much, she was so gracious and welcoming. I saw how she tended to the birds, one thought comes to mind, she was in the kitchen cutting pears up into tiny bits for the mockingbird. Her yard inspired me, I remember the Chaste Tree she told me about, I spent that spring hunting down one and found a nursery to order one for me. I know you'll miss her and please accept my deepest apologies.
P.S. I do not live in Lexington anymore, we moved to Cynthiana in October.
bob, I'm so sorry for your loss. <<hug>>
know that the thoughts and prayers of the whole forum are with you. really, if there's anything we can do, don't hesitate to reach out.
peace be with you, brother.
Bob I know nothing I say can take away the pain you are feeling. I am so sorry our dear friend. Know that we care and you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Bob,
I am very sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.

Bob I am so sorry for your loss she was much too young I hope she didn't suffer too much. It will be two years in April that I lost my fiancee Bert so I know how you feel. Just know that my thoughts are with you. This morning I dreamed a hummingbird came to my kitchen window I wonder if thar was Jo.
That was awfully sweet. It wouldn't suprise me at all!

There was a small group of us talking this afternoon at work with a friend/former employee, catching up and reminiscing. He mentioned the death of his fiance's mother, her only remaining family, who had succumed to breast cancer last Summer. Of the 4 employees, all had a related story. A customer nearby mentioned his family's loss and an upcoming walk for breast cancer awareness he would be participating in. My grandmother had breast cancer and died shortly after her masectomy. My best friend's mother has battled both breast and uterine cancer. It is startling to hear so many people have been effected by this disease.
My heart streches out to you Bob. You have an entire host of friends here on your Forum who wish you comfort in your time of need. Both now and in the future. If you have need, call upon us. I'm sure the Hummers here on Earth will miss her, but I'm equally sure she's dancing in fields of Hummingbirds in Heaven.
Jo sounds like she was a neat lady, that picture of her and the Robin is all I would need to know how kind she must have been. ~Nate.
If there is anything at all I can do for you, please let me know. Our Auxiliary is having a District meeting tommorow and the theme is Cancer. We will be watching a movie etc. When we have our closing prayer, I will dedicate it to your wife.
Bob,
please accept my heart felt condolences on the passing of your dear wife.
I am not a regular poster but I try to read the board everyday. Again I'm so sorry. I will keep your family in my prayers.
Bob, though I never had the honor of meeting Jo, I feel privileged to have been touched by her life and her love through knowing you. I will keep you, your family, and all who knew and loved Jo in my thoughts.
Bob, I am so sorry to hear of your dear wife's passing. She must have been quite a fine lady. I pray that time will ease your pain, and that you can find some comfort in your wonderful memories and in the ways that she lives on in you.
Bob,
I just received and email from Stan telling me about Jo. I cam straight here to the forum to let you know how deeply sorry I am to have received such sad news. My heart and my prayers go out to you my dear friend for your loss. Please know that if there is ANYTHING ast all that I could do I am more than happy to do so. Even though we are scattered across this land we are all with you in love and in spirit.
May God Bless and keep you as Jo watches over you on Eagle's wings.

Some things in life are just beyond words. While we can never know exactly what you're feeling, where you are is a place we all know because of our shared humanity.
So sorry to hear about the passing of your wife. Our prayers are with you in this time of sorrow, and may God give you comfort and help you through these difficult times.
My most sincere and heartfelt sympathies. May the joy of remembering all your beautiful memories together sustain you through everything.
My mother is fighting the brave fight from breast cancer--after a double radical mastectomy--and 5-yrs cancer-free, it returned and is now in her lungs. I truly understand the pain, anger, frustration and exhaustion this insidious disease can wreak.
Bob:
So sorry to hear about Jo. I am sure she will be missed and remembered by many.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Although I don't know you, I want you to know that my ballet studio does a fund raiser twice a year for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Trying to do what we can to find a cure for this devastating disease. You will be in my prayers.
Bob,
I have just settled in here from my vacation and I have quickly become aware of your loss.I am terribly sorry to hear this news for you and my deepest sympathies go out to you and the rest of your family.
I hope you are coping well and I understand that Jo was a teriffic gardener.
Perhaps you can reserve a part of the garden in her memory with her favorite Perennial plants planted there. I did that with my grandmother a few years ago and it felt good.
All of my love and sorrow go out to you today.

Bob,
I was just looking around on the forum and saw the site in memory of your wife Jo. I know it's been well over a year but being a new member I didn't know. I looked at all the pics ,and cried, it did look like she had a great love of nature, birds, flowers, trees, cats (I love cats, Lost mine last spring not ready for a new one yet) I just wanted to say I'm sorry for your loss. I hope things are a little better now that time has passed but I sure that some days are hard. Hey maybe she might be one of the robins or hummers that visit your garden each day just to say "hey honey I'm great. I've got a huge garden growing with trees, flowers, robins, all birds, hummers, butterflies and yeah i just got a new cat!!
