Can any of you artistic people perhaps post a simple graphic of a hummer that I could make a mosaic tile out of. I am on a kick making stepping stones for my garden and I would love to do a "SIMPLE" hummer mosaic. I use broken plates and glue and grout them....so it has to be really simple lines.

I would like to make some stepping stones also. I have the concrete, but what do you use for a form? Any instructions would be most useful....

Hi Becky, My dear friend made this stained glass for me several years ago....It's a pretty basic simple design....You are welcome to copy it if you would like. I can send you a very close up picture as the one here is low res and not sure how to send it to you....Let me know ... P.s. You could even use a flower or two...

Thanks Karen....that is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. I think I will be able to get what I need from that. I just need a simple outline.

Pam, I cheat on the stepping stones. I buy the plain concrete squares from Lowes or Home depot....then I break my tile. Glue the pieces with Silicon II and then I use standed grout over that. I have made one out of concrete. I got a kit at Michaels. but you can use a baking pan.....grease it just like you would a cake. I've never actually done that, but I know it would work. If you use a mold and concrete, you can mash your pieces in it when it gets semi hard, and you don't have to grout

You can go to the gardenwebforum.com and go to the garden junk or trash to treasure forum and get lots of ideas and how tos.

Here is a link, http://tinyurl.com/5fgsek of a coloring picture of a hummer, for children, from the Rubythroat website. You could easy transfer it onto your 'cement'
