Karen--- I guess the reason it happened a storm was coming up and the small feeders were dry and they were gathering at the window feeders when it happened. I couldnt have gotten a good pic either because my blinds were half closed, caught me off guard but that event is always so unexpected, but one day I plan on capturing it on video.

Hi Steve,
I suppose since I am in California it is a little more common to see the hummers share a port. The only time I see this is their first feed of the morning.I have several feeders but made sure that I have on outside my bedroom window.I have looked on several occasions to see two sitting at one port and sharing. There are 6 ports on that feeder and I have seen eight feeding.
I guess they really have to be hungry to sit still for that.It really is so cute to see.

Fun,isn't it?

Steve,
Last year was the first time I saw them share a port and I was shocked. It still isn't something that they do everyday.I have only been lucky to see it once so far this year.

It really is quite amazing!
