We will be leaving sometime this afternoon and heading down to southern Indiana for Thanksgiving so before I get too busy cleaning and packing for the short trip I wanted to wish everyone a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving. I am so thanksful to be able to call you all my friends even though most of us have never met. We have shared good times and sad and we have become a true cyber-family. To those who are no longer with us, you still have a special place in my heart and will always be remembered.
God Bless you all!

I remember having both Thanksgivings way back when I had a girlfriend in BC. It has always been my favorite holiday. Life isn't perfect but there is always plenty to be thankful for.
To all my American friends and neighbours and fellow humnuts, I'm wishing you all a safe, healthy, happy and grateful Thanksgiving celebration.

She lived in Vernon. It seems like a lifetime ago, what I remember these days is all the friends I made there. I was even arrested by the RCMPs for working without a work permit - the man in red at the foot of my latter in an Spartan apple orchard. My car's clutch had gone out and I needed extra money to fix it. I had to pay $10.00 and check in at the border. You may not want to talk to me anymore, I'm a convict.
Happy Thanksgiving all!! I've been pretty absent here lately, life has thrown me a few curves.....But I still found something to be thankful for...My friends here at this great forum. Some I've met, some I hope to meet someday. Hard to believe I joined this forum over 2 years ago and am still hanging with you other hummer nuts and garden junkies! Hang tough everyone, even if you think you have it rough, there is always someone that you wouldn't change places with for the world, and usually that person is closer than you think.
Ward,
I KNEW you were a Rebel and a kindered heart!! I too have to admit spending one lonely night in jail as a teen...DAM those days were fun and oh if it were all that simple again!!!
