Snowbird!

As you've seen from other posts, yesterday was an unusual day here in south Louisiana. We had a snow day with record snowfall! Very cool -- pun intended -- especially since many of us lost power as well!

The snow was fun, but since I spent much of my childhood in Michigan, it was not a new experience for me. This, however, was a first!

Since the plants were covered with snow and the insects weren't moving, my little winter visitors spent lots of time perched on the feeders yesterday. Made for some great photo opportunities!

That wave file is just amazing. I've never seen anything like it before!! What was the tiny light in the feeder glass?? Reflection?
