Hey, Im no pro with the camera but I thought you folks might enjoy these. No telephoto lens or big fancy camera, just cold, calm birds that let me take their picture close up. First photo is of the hummer that got himself frozen to the fence and the second photo is his neighbor. These two perch about 10 feet apart all day long. One bird owns one feeder and the other bird owns three. Cold here today, at 3:00 p.m. it is 25 degrees. Weve had about a week of very cold/frozen weather and are expecting a week more.

Connie here. They both look like male Anna's to me . "Fence guy" looks great and healthy, no harm done getting that wing stuck. You did the right thing, and I'm glad everything turned out OK for the little guy.
