That picture is just priceless! Just too cute! Well here in the northeast we are definitely going to have a very white Christmas. In fact right now all I can see is WHITE and more WHITE! I just hope it stops because I really need to go to the grocery store BAD!
Merry Christmas One and All!

It took me ages to get the hummer to allow me to put the hat on his head!
We are sure glad we decided to stay here this Christmas. The whole of Canada is on 'red alert'. At our kids place it is -25C not including the windchill. Brrrr!

What a cutie! I'm glad he let you put his hat on. Happy holidays to you as well.
Patricia...that is so cute. My hummers could use stocking caps! We're still having this long, long winter storm. Quite a bit of snow fell yesterday and overnight, so I had some shoveling to do today.

Joan, I grew up in the mountains north of Spokane & our winters were long & we usually had lots of snow. Some years we had at least 6' of level snow. After one such winter, I went sledding on the 14th of April on a hillside that received sun only during the morning hours....that's a long time to have snow on the ground!
Here in the Seattle area, we don't get snow often & it usually lasts only a few days. It's been about 18 years since the last time we've had snow like we do now. There's one more storm coming in tonight and tomorrow, bringing a little more snow, then we should see rain on Christmas and the snow will begin to go away....yippee!
Bob, your "artwork" combining my 2 photos is a hoot! I thought my eyes were deceiving me for a moment, then you should have seen me laughing.

I have a friend who lives in Denver who sees a lot of snow. One summer we visited him in June. We were doing the tourist thing and wanted to go to the top of Mt. Evans, but the road wasn't opened due to the heavy snow. There was a heat wave while we were visiting. I looked up Mt. Evans and it said the roads are typically opened on Memorial Day after the snow plows can go through and then closed after Labor Day. I couldn't handle it...
