What a pretty little bird! I think he looks beautiful next to the bright colors of the flower.

Maryjane unfortunately no. There are many different kinds growing in the trees on my property but I have no guide to them.

Maryjane, I think the bromeliad is Guzmania nicaraguensis.

It resembles the female Mountian-Gems in Central America.
