Salvia praeclara

Maybe a month ago I planted some S.preaclara seeds (now I read it is S. exserta) that had been generously given to me in my new little planting area, and they germinated quite fast. There are only four leaves on this plant, but I was amazed this morning to see one was actually blooming!

Spring is on the way, guys...!

Wow that is amazing Patricia! Mine never did bloom last year...maybe this coming year! But spring is still too far off to think about up here.
