banding results2/7 Calliope,Allen's, Buffy

Nancy, Steve and I went to a couple of sites near the Mississippi River levee that always do well. The second site hosted an immature male Calliope, an Allen's and a Buffy. You can really see the difference in size of the birds in hand. The head shots are the Calliope and Allen's. The last two shots of the Buffy show how big it is.

Verry nice shots Joan. I heald my own figures up similar in fashion to how Nan holders the hummers ( Photo #1) so that I could put the Calliope in better perspectiive. They really are small aren't there when you put them up against the Buff-bellied
