Believe it or not Penny I hae not. It does look like a good site to visit. If the plants do well in Texas most of them should do well for me.

They have the best price I have found so far for red yuccas ($6.95) and no minimum order. and they take Pay Pal so I could use my Pay Pal acct. rather than depleting my bank acct. Daves Garden doesn't have any reviews or history on them so it could be a new site.

Paypal!!!!!

I saw a red yucca plant at a garden center I stopped at Wednesday. Picked it up and gave it a look but put it back down. Didn't check the price.

Carol, I don't know how long they have been in business. I really would like to replace at least 2 of my 4 plants that got snatched right out of the ground.
So many places have a minimum order or much higher prices and since this one accepts pay pal and no minimum it is a little more affordable.

Dianne
It is a good plant for a hot dry spot. I like the fact that the foilage has interest even if it isn't blooming.

The photos for some of the sages don't seem to match up. Microphylla Peach looks to be a coccinea. I grow greggii Coral and that isn't its photo, more like Teresa. The leaves in the photo of greggii Flame look more like microphylla or a greggii x microphylla hybrid.

Last spring greggii Coral showed up at a garden center near the office. It is a really really beautiful greggii. Not only are the coral colored flowers particularly fine, but so are the leaves which are a very dark green. The only bush sage I have with such dark green leaves is the hybrid Cherry Queen. It also roots pretty easily from cuttings and its hardiness is yet to be determined.
