Hi Carol and welcome!
Boy it is a small world. I grew up in Shreveport just east of Dallas/Ft. Worth and now live between Buffalo and Niagara Falls. By the way I saw your seed request so I sent you an email. Let me know what you are looking for and I will see what I can do to get you started.

Carol, how are folks doing with the drought? I have been hearing really bad things. Apparently the dry land farmers can't plant this spring.

Hi Carol, welcome to the forum from a former (that's almost a tongue-twister!) Texan. I've lived in Dallas & Houston and still visit friends north of the DFW Airport, not far from Lewisville.

Are you a fan of down-home southern food? If you can get to Babe's in Roanoke or one of their other locations, it's darn good eatin'! Here's a link: http://www.babeschicken.com/

Hi all

March 11 2009, 9:46 PM

The drought is pretty bad here. The lake we get our water from is over 9 feet below. Im so happy its raining right now. Should rain for the next couple of days. I will go look up about the hummers here. I dont get out as much as i used to since we moved out to the boonies. Its about an hours drive to get to Ft Worth. There is not one great resturant around here. lol. This looks like such a great board with good people, glad to be here

Carol
I just sent you an email to let you know that your seeds are on their way. I also included some annual vines....Cardinal Climber and Mina Lobata (Spanish Flag) I included a sheet listing all the seeds but if you have any questions when you get them just send me an email.
