Fuschsia roots easily from cuttings. Just remove several sets of leaves and stick them in potting soil, put them in the shade and keep well watered. Some of the first cutting I ever took were from Gardenmeister.

Yes, it is not a great hummingbird plant - pretty though. Thanks Patricia, as soon as bush sage seeds mature I'll harvest and send them - probably not until early July. Right now the sage row is 500 feet of dead stems, very worrisome, but there is hope.

Ward,
I was breaking the top branches from some of my Greggii "Wild things" and found shades of green in them. I think, they have survived the season. Hope things are good Palmyra.
I love this plant and usually just have one or two hanging plants that I bring in and overwinter, cut they back and wait for their new growth - but it takes a while for them to bloom. I have tried rooting them and it works. Somehow though, I always like to buy a few early in the spring, for their fuller blooms than what I can get with my efforts..

Suchiek, I have faith that your Wild Thing will survive and thrive. You aren't the only one who has broken off a few stem as a test. Even though it shouldn't be done it is impossible to resist. It looks to be a good Agastache winter, rather dry. If the new shoots last another 3 weeks all danger should be past.
