We've been getting a lot of rain since yesterday and more is on the way. I was busy all day but finally got a chance to check out the garden. I saw a hummer! I went out to try and get a shot and witnessed a chase. Then a third hummer flew in! I hope somebody stays overnight. I'm joining Nancy and Tom in the morning for our first spring banding session North of New Orleans.

Thanks guys. It's raining like crazy here and there's more to come. But Nancy doesn't stop banding just cause it's raining, sometimes she catches better in the rain. I hope my dudes stick around a little while.

Great shots Joan. I was about to call this an Alabama crimson honeysuckle. I must go outside and get some blooms of both and compare. DUH I am a dunce for sure.
