Thanks Susan Louise and Steve.
With those winds, you could be right, maybe they just blew straight over your house and into Canada. God help them! I can imagine them glancing wistfully down at your yard, Susan Louise, but the wind was blowing too hard for them to land!

to Nebraska, where the wind blows you upside down!
That system is supposed to come through here later tomorrow, bringing winds, snow and rain. I don't think it will accumulate much, now that the ground has warmed some. We'll see. Has it hit you hard, Steve? I know what you mean about having dots all around you, and no hummingbirds. I'm sure I'll be experiencing a lot of that in the next few weeks. I'm not too anxious, yet, but I know I'll start to go crazy as the month goes on.
You know, I STILL haven't put any feeders up--too busy with that darn garden. I worked like a maniac all day, trying to fill in a hole I'd dug out by the road, an extension of my sun garden. With all the plants I ordered, no way were the sun lovers all going to fit in the confines of the old garden. I was determined to get it done before this crazy weather comes.
You know, Lily hasn't checked in in awhile. For all we know, that could be her dot we're seeing in western PA!
