None of the Agastaches that I have grown will bloom from spring onward. Most don't bloom untill later in the summer. Your best best for all season blooms would be salvia coccineas like Lady in Red or Coral Nymph if they are nursery grown plants they may already be in bloom when you get them.

I just planted 2 of the black & blue in the back and 2 of the coral but the latter are flowering now and are very small while the black & blue are not budding but growing and are currently about 12 inches tall. I hope that they double that!

Mark, The Coral Nymph will bloom much sooner than the B&B. As far as the size of your B&B they will probably be triple the size they are now by late summer if not bigger. My plants are easily 3-4 ft. tall and just as wide by late summer.

I bought eight black and blue salvias this week. What I am doing now is repotting them in a larger pot till middle of second or middle of May.I had super petunias in the from of the house last year but I am afraid the petunias will not come up this spring.I want to replace them with the black and blue salvias on the ground. The spacing is ten by ten feet square. In the middle of the plot is a steel pot. What is good to put in the pot as red flowers as annual but to really actractive to the hummers..
