I kept checking my feeders today in hopes of seeing the hummer that my DH saw last night (and I did not). Finally, while I was making dinner he came to the feeder for a long drink! He was a beautiful little guy and his red throat almost glowed. I'm happy now...and I hope more of my friends on the forum have seen their first hummer of the season.

Thanks Steve...after I saw your post about seeing one on Saturday, I knew I should see one soon also, and was bummed last evening because my husband saw him and I didn't. He enjoys the hummers too and takes excellent care of my hummer garden, but I must admit, that I was a litte jealous that I didn't have the first sighting at our feeders
Guess I do not like to share that first view!
