In the last 15 minutes Ive had three different females or at least three different sessions I mean these gals were locked in filling those guts for thier overnight sleep. Each one seeming to perch for 5min or so. The very last one to gorge was at 8:55pm isnt that a bit late. Anyway kinda nice they picked my place for their last stop of the night. I have to confess I did refresh the feeders about a half hour so earlier.

Oh man!!!! Send one here, Steve. I'm about ready to print a picture & glue it on my feeder. Very depressing. No orioles or Indigo Buntings either. 1 Rose Breasted Grosebeak for a brief second. Had 5 for about a week last year. I'm depressed!!![linked image]

Joni-- OH Man you mean you havent had a hummer yet I surely thought you had one by now. One thing that I remember is action never really pics up here till about mid may or slightly after. I still only have one feeder out front and one out back so that tells you action is slow. I just have little spurts of visitation. I am really counting on that vine support I put in increase activity this year, time will tell. OH yeah, if I could I would happily send one to you, but as we know its a waiting game.

Yeah, I know. I can always seem to count on fall migration to be good but I don't want to wait that long. Then it seems you worked all spring & summer for nothing. I like your vine idea. Haven't been on here as much as I'd like since Dad passed & trying to get the old house cleaned out. Parents actually moved to new place a year ago & have just been gradually stopping here & there but now, it's gotta get on the market. They had an old patio set of which 1 was a swing they hung from our old swingset frame. My Sister's Stepson is an unemployed carpenter. Think I'll put him to work & build me a nice frame....1 that will also support vines. Then I can swing, relax & hopefully watch plenty fliting about me!!!
