I've got cardinal babies. I'm so excited! I found the nest a few weeks ago in one of the leyland cypress that lines my back yard. I don't look back there that often and never saw a bird go to the nest. I looked up online to read about the nests of the birds that frequent my yard. This particular nest had plastic woven thru it, and I found online that cardinals frequently do this. I started seeing the babies a few days ago.

I think I have baby mourning doves, too, and I often have baby goldfinch. I just love watching them all.

Good for you Carol. I seem to have all the birds here minus the nests of course. Will there be any way you can get any pics that you could post for us. That would be very nice, at any rate enjoy all the nests you have and the babies.

Steve, I'll try to get pics. It's rained 5" here since Friday, so I've been watching them from inside. My camera doesn't have a good zoom, and I'm not sure how close-up I can get to take the pictures. I'll try to take some this weekend and post them but can't promise they'll be great. I'd really love to buy a new camera this summer with a great zoom.
