Found this being sold in 4" pot as an annual today (Tecoma Stans). Appears to be yellows out there but sounds like 'Mayan Gold' is new this year. Isn't this Crossvine? Tried googling under botanical name & I would need an interpreter so tried Yellow Bells..'Mayan.. & found this:

Very pretty. Looks like another overwinter. Any input?

I have the tree, Joni, and the hummers like it. It has a very pleasant smell also. Mine does seem to bloom all summer long. It is in full bloom now.

I'm not sure how big this plant of yours will get. My tree is about 10 ft high and perhaps 6 ft wide. It isn't the favorite plant in my garden for hummers, but they like it.

Joni Tecoma Stans is in the same family as crossvine and trumpet vine but it is a tender shrub

Thanks, Tom & Penny. I thought so!! Tom, if there is any way to post a pix, I would love to see it. Mine is very small but I plan on putting in it's own pot & over-wintering it. Very nice looking.
