Saw My first Hummer today.. i was walking away from my feeders not even thinking about seeing a hummer and then BANG there it was. It went by me toward the feeders i turned to look and sure enough it was a hummer.Not sure if it was male or female.Took a quick drink and was gone as fast as it showed up.

Glad you finally saw one Steve 317. Dont know if you just have feeders out or if you have hummer plants too but beware of aphids on any salvias or larger vine type plants. Sorry got sidetracked enjoy your hummers.

indysteve, i do have alot of plants .. Is this going to be a bad year for aphids? They're like a small army lined up and down young shoots... they only hit my rose bushes so far and i did the spray bottle with dish soap and water. Seems to work
