I planted subrotunda last year, thanks to a generous donor from this group...can anyone here post a photo of what the emerging seedlings look like, so I don't yank them all out?
TIA!
Emily

It's overcast and almost 8pm here, so I had to use the flash...

Emily, don't worry about yanking all of them up. No matter how many you pull, there will be more sprouting up!

Wow great shots MaryJane . We had a nice patch of seedlings like that at Palmyra Cove last weekend which were promptly divided and spread out over a 50 ft square area. It should make for a good hummer bed.

Thanks Stephen! happy.gif My subrotunda was one of the plants that didn't "come back" for me, so this plot is new seeds a generous member shared with me. (I had subrotunda with coral nymph planted in front of it, and what is growing there now is about to bloom at 4" tall, and it looks white! Freaky cross I guess? As soon as I determine what the bloom looks like they may get yanked up.

This new patch is clear across the garden from there so it won't get polluted, lol.

Maryjane,
Thanks for those photos...don't think I've got anything that looks like that yet! When it stops raining, I'm going to check more closely. If they are there, they're not that big yet.
Thanks again,
Emily
