How would salvia blepharophlla(eyelash sage) do in a hanging basket? May 21 2009 at 11:28 AM		(Login pineapplesage) Hummingbird Member 2006

I've never gronw eyelash sage before. It seems a bit fragile. I've had one sheer off at the base from the wind out in a pot on my deck. Do you think this plant would do okay in a hanging basket or would it get too big? The one I had stay rather compact until late summer / early fall and then it took off

I had mine in a pot last year and it grew to about 18 inches, not very bushy.The flowers are divine.

It has been a few years since there has been one here but I seem to recall it needed very regular watering.
