What is the tallest flower, the purply-pink one? Looks so pretty in with the monarda and other plants.
Thanks for sharing... wish my garden was that far along.

Marylane for me there is nothing prettier than an unkept garden. With all the rain you should see mine. And as long as the hummingbirds and butterflies don't seem to mind the condition I won't either.
Thats a nice mix there of tall and short flowers. Makes it a little easier for hummers to get at them. I remember the first year I hummer gardened mine sorta looked like that , but where yours appears more out in the open mine was tucked up against the house and my black and blue had flowers up against the house that the hummers just couldnt quite get to so Ive improved it since then, but yours looks a lot better than mine did.
Buenos días! I love seeing all the members gardenss, right now, when I can't view my own! Mostly I can just the tips of a very tall Russelia equisetiformis.
MaryJane, it looks great!
I'm so sorry Linda..I had to run to town, so I'm just now seeing your question.
Yeppers, that's Agastache 'Tutti Frutti'. Up until now I've kept it potted, but this year I said what the hey and planted it..and it went wild. (Even the stalks that fell over did an L and turned up to make bloom stalks, lol.) It's in the Hyssop family.
I also grow A. 'Ava' (a tad darker pink) and A. 'Sierra Dawn' (apricot):
The hummers don't care for the SD, but I like it. It also has a funky aroma.
Maryjane, Your garden is so very beautiful! I love the way all the colors flow together. What a lovely sight to greet you in the morning. I can just imagine the hummers zipping around each bloom- and I only hope mine will look as full as yours in a few months! Its so sparse now.
I have to admit this sure wasn't on purpose. I'm guilty of being very impatient, so when I've assumed something has died or isn't coming back I'm not always right when I plant something else on top of it. LOL!
I'd waited two years and assumed the monarda wasn't going to bloom because it made plants, plants, and more plants. Then the mole got my B&B (I thought). I planted the agastache and the joke was on me!
Beautiful! Looks like a natural meadow, and all those flowers just grew together by happenstance. I thought that looked like an Agastache, but I didn't know they could be such a purplish pink. Very pretty!
I never would have thought of putting those colors together, but it is gorgeous!
My garden is mostly weeds because I have a new metal hip and can't get down there to work on it yet. So I will just enjoy yours Thanks!
MaryJane I have to tell you that after seeing your picture I have gotten out and started digging the weeds and grass from around my hummingbird flowers. I couldn't to it earlier this year and then with all the rain I let things just get away from me.
One of my granddaughters said a little while ago, "Mimi I can see your plants now". She gave me that little extra push to work a bit longer. Inside now because it is just so darn hot and it is only June 10. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel so finishing up my job won't be so bad.
Now I will just have a wonderful mixture of all the flowers minus the weeds and grass. A plus was all the Lady in Red plants I found. They are now cleaned around and watered.
By the way I didn't see one snake. (Forgive me I just had to throw that in.)
