Did you ever get up out of bed and just know It was a mistake, today was that day for me. Just recently I got another car not a new one , mind you but new to me. I was lazy about making sure I had a house key on both key rings. So being in a hurry to meet someone I went out my front door which I never do its always out the garage, but last night I moved the new car in the garage and those were the only keys in my pocket so I lock the front door as I go out, ought oh,
"locked out" but wait I had an extra key made for my old car[in my wallet] which was locked and garage door openers inside that one, nope I had lost that key out of my wallet,,, most definately locked out. My old car sitting outside in the driveway those keys inside my locked house, my new car sitting inside a locked garage and those being the only keys in my pocket,, even more locked out.
By now you are saying did you try old credit card trick, yep no dice so I get help from neighbors, they had a couple stiff rods they used to maneuver into the old car windows[not what you're thinking] finally after a half hour or so maybe more, finally success and all they wanted was a beer . When that lock finally clicked you cant believe the roar that went up from half a dozen guys, they just would not give up like it was a big challenge. Sure is nice to have good neighbors, be able to get into my own house without breaking a window or costing me locksmith bill.

But then I come home after visiting at my sisters place and find I have pic of the day. Thanks Bob and Penny I needed that. [linked image]

Awwwwwwwwwwwww, sounds like something I would do. Which is EXACTLY why I hide a house key INSIDE the garage, just in case. [linked image] Hope you had a better time at your sisters! I know how nice it is to have a sister to chat with about plants and gardening. Mine called last nght ans we were on the phone for an hour!

How's your candy cane vine doing?
My Slvia is blooming.
The rain was horrific, how's you veggie grden?
etc etc etc

oh yeah, how's the family??

Wasn't that fun Steve? A time or two I've done that. [linked image]. Lucky for me I only weighed about 100lbs one of the times, and could crawl through the tiny bathroom window. Getting locked out of my car with 2 sets of keys in it was another bright thing [linked image].

You did buy a couple of cases of beer for your neighbors, right? [linked image]

Pam-- Hiding a house key inside my locked garage does me no good whatsoever. In my home my bath is centerized no window plus no unlocked windows plus I have a slider which I keep a bar in when I leave . But having a house key on my other key ring helps which I now have or hiding a key in plant or container could work. This one gets blamed on my own idiocy and no where else. Now hopeing this was the last time I get locked out of house or car.
