A few weeks ago, we saw a oriole at the hummer feeder & it scared the hummers away. So, I put out some grape jelly nearby & we get to watch both.
Just to make sure I mixed right...is the ratio 1 part sugar to 4 parts water? I forgot!

Thanks Carol, it was the 2nd time I filled it this year & trying to remember - I use 1/3 cp sugar to 1 1/3 cp water.
Not to get off topic, but these orioles are really cool! Only the 2nd time I ever saw one & now there are 3 at a time at the jelly - & they eat like pigs LOL. The hummers are still my favorites. They come to their feeder while I'm sitting just a few feet away now. The orioles are wusses. They won't come around if anyone is on the deck. I will try to get some pics soon.

We supposedly have orioles here occasionally. I've never been fortunate enough to see one, but would love to!
