I got back from my two week trip to OR and my first stop was to see if my little female and her nest had survived. I was glad to see that everything appears to be ok and that, probably, the nest is now complete. It looks like she is still sitting on her eggs but I expect it won't be too much longer before the little ones arrive. My problem is nosey neighbors! Because the branch the nest is on is relatively close to the ground, I don't want anyone to know it is there so I am staying away when I see the neighbors out or the visiting kids in the nearby pool. Since this is a community where over half the people are only here on weekends, come Monday I can probably check things out. I'll never be able to get above the nest to take pictures, but we may see a couple of little beaks eventually! I'll keep everyone posted.

Carla, That is just an amazing photo. I can only imagine how exciting this is for you! Monday must seem so far away....LOL but good for you to keep her away from any disturbances.
