Has anyone come across a good UV screen cover or shade that would allow you to use your laptop outdoors? I like to bring mine outside, but the glare is really blinding sometimes, well, most times, even in the shade. I've been searching online and thought I'd check with you other outdoor nuts first.

Hi Pam, What a coincidence. I just ordered a hood for my video camera LED screen yesterday. I went back to the site just now, looked to see if they had ones for laptops and sure enough they did. I copied the site and hopefully I can paste it here. Looks like it worked. ~~ Karen

Don't know how I missed this. Thanks! That looks a little bulky, I saw somewhere there was some kind of a film that you can apply to the screen, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with that type.

How is yours working for the camera?

Hi Pam, Funny you should ask about my sun shield hood. I actually called the company and the guy said "measure the screen" and we'll get one sent out to you. Well actually measured the whole frame of the little screen. He meant actually measure the little LED screen...It arrived today and was too BIG. DUH on me....He said he'd send another one right away even if I didn't send the old one back right away...Very trusting.

Yes, laptop shade hood looks pretty combersome. I think I would opt for the screen too instead. I'll probably be looking into something like that when we get the house done. Sit on patio, watch hummers, drink hot chocolate, log on to the Hummingbird Forum. What a life!
