It rained all day here so it is no wonder some of my hummers looked this way but they hung out at the feeders since there was little else food to be had.

I wish I could show these pics to my hummers & let them know how lucky they are this year...I often refer to the 4th of July as the last "official" day of winter in the Seattle area. Most years, it is chilly & rainy here on the 4th. We turn on the heat & wear sweaters or coats. This year is a wonderful opposite to that...sunny all day...high was somewhere in the 80's. The hummers were happy...I was happy.

When its a rain-in like today the hummers pretty much share with very little fighting that I notice, mainly since there are several trying to get that food.

lol He is a bit scruffy lookin. Our hummingbird visitors seem to like the rain. Not sure if that's normal or not. lol
