I think this must be a large tuft of nest lining material dangling from the foot of this female. Interesting thing is, the next day, I noticed a fuzzy ball of something lying on the grass near the feeders. I'm almost positive it's the same thing that was dangling from this bird's foot. It even had glistening dried up shiny splashes on it, which I think was dried up sugar water.

I've seen this before, but never this large, and never before got a video record of it.

Nice capture-- I saw a similar thing on a hummers beak but couldnt get camera in time to get it.

What a great adorable capture! Glad to know what was attached to it was harmless...and it "escaped from it's grip". It's nice to see another one of your handmade feeders in your video too...it's lovely!
