What a sparkling jewel! It's going to be a long hot summer here! I'm sure missing hummers.

You can really see those projecting stamens resting on (her?) head. A little pollinator, hard at work! I just have the blazing red S. coccineas, it's nice to see the pink ones, too!

I went nuts growing coral nymph this year. They were all blooming until the goldfinches found them. Now I just have green leaves again. I even set up the thistle feeder again in hopes of luring them away from the salvias so they can start to bloom again.
