Any one around SE Michigan seen or know of any new young ones out and about yet?----------My king-of-the-yard male has kicked out every other hummer that has entered----I figure maybe when the new ones arrive it may be too much for him to handle. I even put a feeder and flowers in the front of the house but he perches himself way up high so he can see any hummer fly in front or back and chase away.

Eddie,
No new activity in western NY yet. In fact this has been the quietest season in the 11 yrs. we have been in this house as far as hummers go.

I may have a young female hummer. She has been visiting since the past two days. I think this because she seems hesitant, and is investigating unlikely flowers such as roses, daylilies and coneflowers first. The other two seem a lot more confident.
