The Black-chinned have left; 3 Rufous are still here getting fatter; and these three new hummers came this morning. Unless I am mistaken, they are: a female Costas; a male Costas (the head and gorget appear black in the picture but they were a beautiful purple); and a female Anna's (the male Anna's was here yesterday). I hope these 4 stay for the winter since they did last year. The Rufous go after them, but they seem to be able to stand their ground.

Carla, I don't know Costa's real well, but the top bird appears to be an immature male rather than a female. He would certainly be welcome at my place!
