Taken just this morning...! Was so excited I shut it off as Ken is saying....

Oh my gosh you don't know how long it took me to post this - I am technologically challenged for sure!!! But finally I think 'we got a picture of a hummingbird'!

Carol that is great and your Russelia is beautiful. Mine is still tiny (6 inch hanging basket and still not filled out). I am hopeful that it will be fuller next year. It is growing but now with the cooler weather probably much slower. It still only has the one bloom but since I don't have any hummers, I don't mind.

Great video. You're not the only one that's "challenged". Sometimes it takes me forever to get a picture posted.

Very nice Carol, so far I have not seen any visiting mine, but expect they were waiting until my back was turned.

Carol, how cool!
I never seem to have a camera around when I need it, much less a video camera. It really is a great medium for birds that are so animated.

Carol, I'm so impressed that you actually had the camera ready when the hummingbird was at the plant. It took forever for me to finally see a hummer on my russelia, I could only dream of being lucky enough to get it on film or tape!

Nice video Carol! I know how much you like that plant and it really is a bonus when you see them using one of your favorite plants. Hopefully you will have them through Sept.

Very nice video. So was Ken saying " it would be nice if we could get a picture of a hummingbird perched"

Thanks folks...I really had to laugh when I first viewed this...yes Ken was hoping and his comment right on but unaware I was shooting a video!

Penny and JP - You are right - it is one neat plant - so hope I can overwinter it without losing it...the money I spent so worth it, seeing how the hummers love it too!

Mike - glad I'm not the only one with techno difficulties. I thought I was better at this by now but....apparently worse. Took me a full half-hour to post it.

Ward - Some times I can get right up close to them and mess up a pic real easy as this always surprises me and I nearly drop the camera - everything out of focus then....

Lizette, Joan and Linda - I only got lucky with this - and just happened to be obsessively looking out the window wishing and along one came...I don't know how I got this one - and Ken's voice made me click off the video...duh...

Steve - Ken was hoping I could get one to put on the forum...and wow was I surprised.
