Close Encounter

Hummingbird Member 2006

I was taking a big drink of iced tea today and 2 hummingbirds flew through the opening between my elbow and mouth. Only damage done was a bit of tea dribbled down the front of my shirt as I jumped. Are these guys fearless or what?

I think they deliberately wait until you are within their war zone and then they confer to each other to scare the bejeebers out of the human.
