I still have a male

Since sunday I have had an adult male ruby-throat. I thought he might have left today but I just saw him about a half hour ago. I couldn't get a photo though he was too fast.

I haven't seen a male in at least two weeks now possibly three.

I know. I hadn't seen an adult male since around labor day this is the latest I have ever seen one. He better get a move on. I guess he's fattening up He only uses the feeder that I can tell. I havern't seen him at the flowers Maybe he will spend the winter in Louisiana.

I sure wish someone here on the forum could get their birds banded so we could possibly see where they end up.

I just had a male arrive in the past couple of days too.

Yesterday I had 3 hummers flying around the yard together.

I think my red zinnias are bringing them in to the feeders.

It would be so interesting to get some of our HBs banded and find out where they go from our yardens...
