Singing Mockingbird

Hummingbird lover 2009

I know - this is a hummingbird site and you probably all have Mockingbirds - but I was bored and couldn't resist filming this guy when I heard him sing. With all the hummingbirds gone, I miss what little singing and chirping I was hearing every day and thought I'd capture this. Enjoy!

Thanks, Carla...we don't have mockingbirds in the PNW, but I really enjoyed them when I lived in TX. It's great to watch & hear your bird.

I think there are mockingbirds here in the northeast but I haven't seen one since leaving Louisiana where we had them all the time. I used to love watching them harrass other critters including dogs or even people that came too close to their nest
