Big weather changes for the next couple of days...

We are going to have winds out of the SSE to the SSW for the next 2-3 days. We will be getting major severe weather overnight tonight through tomorrow morning. another major cold front is passing through that is currently bringing snow to Yellowstone/Montana areas...which for them has helped with the fires.
For here, it will mean cooler temps dropping lower with highs in the upper 50's after it passes through.
Our female that stayed overnight last night will probably keep us company for a few days. Although the winds are usually lower in the morning, tomorrow morning the storms will be passing through from between 4-8am at their worst. If the female leaves, she might be able to go after the storms pass through and before the winds pick up again later in the morning. All day Thursday the winds will be out of the South. It will also be another windy day on Friday, but at least the winds will start switching out of the North to Northwest by then.
So, the chances here for any migrating birds from the North, hummers or any other, will probably be nil for the next couple of days...[linked image]
