Pics of our snowy gardens...

And more snow on it's way...not over yet!
A few early morning pics before feathered or furry visitors...which I believe are currently in shock right now. I am imagining a late migrant finally getting to Central America in another week or two and telling it's story of being snowbound to the earlier hummer arrivals...which would think it had sipped at one too many fermented feeders...HA! (funny, but not funny!)
It is after 9:30 am and not even a House Sparrow or Squirrel in sight! The birds and critters are definately in shock mode...

You'll notice the missing Cannas I took out of this garden last night...

The 'Golden Delicious'...
This pic would look prettier if the sun was shining...

That's a lovely snowy picture, but something that would be expected in November? Did you manage to get all your plants in?
Wow, the weather is crazy this year. Will hummers be OK in such cold? I should watch our forecasts more carefully now.

Hello Priya,

Yes, I brought in our potted tropicals last night before dusk. It's so strange to see snow THIS early...earliest in my lifetime and I'll be 50 by the end of the year!

Susan,

Those are pretty snow pictures, but not something a hummer would like to be confronted with. I still have one in my yard this morning. It's strange, we get as eager for them to leave before the freeze, as we are to see them in the spring.

Very pretty pictures, but too early for snow! Looks as if you and Dan are getting snow from the same system.
