Gary,
From looking at the flowers , I would have to say that is Agastache aurantiaca 'Apricot Sprite'. It is a lovely little Agastache and only get 12-18 inches tall.

In searching my archives it is so hard to pick one fav pic and Im sure many of you would be in the same boat. Great shots by the way and if you are raising lazy hummers then so am I. OH well , here goes.
Favorite male shot
Favorite female shot
Maybe my favorite all time shot not from this year, a statewide pride I guess or maybe because its color coordinated
Since this thread has been started thought I would also add my best video of the year. This was also very difficult as I had many good ones to choose from, but selected this one since in the last half of it you can see hummers on 4 feeders at the same time. I look forward to seeing everyone's input on this thread.

The best one I took this year would be two little friends playing King of the Ring-

Thanks for the comments and the Agastache is Auranatica Coranodo Hyssop. It was listed at about 15 inches, but grew close to 30 inches for me (zone 6B) and bloomed non-stop from May to date.
Ward,
Lazy they maybe, but very cute.
Steve, Caral, Noemi,
Thanks for sharing your favorites. They are absolutely delightful.
Suchie - that's a great shot! My coronado agastache is still blooming... no hummers since October 17, but plenty of blooms. The honeybees have been hitting it the past few days, piercing the base of the blooms... I'm surprised to see them still around.
It was tough picking a favorite, but I really like this one because of the pose and the way the background colors highlight the bird. Great idea for a thread!

Number 1: I am not a camera person.
Number 2: I try to read the manual, but it's written in Greek!
Number 3: I need to take photography classes, but do not have the time.
Number 4: Even though my attempts are pretty poor compared to what everyone else posts, I enjoy every picture I capture of my hummers and am not embarrassed to share my blurry images.
I haven't been around for some time and its nice to come back and find all these wonderful photos! I guess I should add something to share as well. I'm going to add 2 photos, one with my usual dark background and one with a normal colorful background.
Hope everyone enjoys, and keep up the fantastic work everyone!

I think I like that one best of all the ones I have seen of yours over the years. Those flaired tail feathers remind me of a native American headdress
