Heavenly morning- heading out to breakfast and heard some familiar twittering from the wild rose bush near the feeder that had been up since mid April just in case! Saw the tiny littleguy amidst all those leafless tangled brambles - so thrilled - when we came back second male / cannot say for sure when they arrived but noticed them first today/ there is more nectar brewing on the stove as I write this and three more feeders going up today! Glorious day - fish swimming inthe pond after their hibernation too!
Thanks Penny and Steve! Nothing is going to get done around here today! Glued to my seat to watch each feeder visit -one in great shape - not skinny but good sized and healthy looking- the second much more scrawny - lots of bugs out now too so they'll have their proteon. Got a little video on my I phone but not sure how to post it.
Penny it must be any second for you now too; I've noticed our arrivals and departures are pretty close! More rain forecast for this week but not supposed to go below freezing.
