I saw this last year. I believe that they have swithched to clear sugar water since they initially made the video.

My male is so used to me being outside that I should try to see if he will come to a hand held feeder before he leaves which could be any day now.

Yes I too have seen this vid before. I also have a red lid in which I could try to feed the hummers at some point.
