I can't believe this pic didn't make the cut on Suchie's post. She took the pic and I just now saw it. This will be forever in my Palmyra memories!! You see who's kneeling and who is really in charge, no? And Penny, Ward is actually smiling!

I think I recall Nandini taking a few of you to give you a taste of your own medicine. Give em up!! You have few pics where I look absolutely constipated! LoL. I'm sure you look fine!
LOL Pam, what a great shot, that expression on Ward's face is absolutely priceless ... I think I've seen it from my DH and my two sons when they are trying to placate to me LOL! I saw the other thread about your planting at the Palmyra Center and wanted to say I admire all your crew has done and thank you for sharing those great pictures. I'm signing off now, my connection is bad or something is off, the pages are moving way too slow!
Ruth, I was needling Ward when I said I was the boss. The gardens are his baby, I just show up once a year to grovel for free valuable plants! But on that one day a year, I have to give him enough trouble to last him the entire season!
Much as I would like you to be able to sell your house and move to the land of dreams, you will be sorely missed.
Ward, you should start a nursery business and use part of the proceeds for Palmyra. Most of my favorite salvias are your finds.

You know Ward
Suchie does have an idea there ..... I think selling the plants would
be a better idea than throwing those that are left once you have had enough of the planting and want to get back to birding is a great idea ...
