Peter - Wonderful photo! I always think of that song by Nancy Sinatra ... "These boots are made for walking ..." when I see your photos of this hummer species. What a cool-looking hummer!

Peter that is a great pic!!! Those little booties must be rarley used since I doubt it gets that cold in your neck of the woods. Is that a female or male hummy?

Erika it's a male. The female and juvenile don't have the long racket tail.
